 The Good Old Days - Gone But Never ForgottenAfter 23 years in the Old Tempe Tramshed, the Sydney Bus Museum has finally closed it's doors to the public. Lucky for Leichhardt the museum is relocating to the Old Tramshed, part of the recent re-development to the old bus depot site. The contents of the museum has been moved across from its old home, and now comes the job of site preparation to house the collection and open to enthusiastic visitors. There’s a mammoth task ahead, however the museum hopes to be open to the public again in the early New Year. To do this they continue to seek members to help support the project and: - Operate vintage bus services;
- Staff the Museum when open;
- Restore buses, trucks and other exhibits;
- Maintain the Museum site; and
- Perform administration tasks.
